jon bon jovi - acting again?

Singer Jon Bon Jovi, who has not acted in movies since 2006, says he doubts if he would ever get back to acting - because it doesn't seem 'appealing' any more.

The rocker appeared in numerous movies, including 'Moonlight and Valentino' and 'Pay It Forward', as well as made high profile TV appearances in 'Sex and the City' and 'Ally McBeal'.

'I loved it. It adds a great humility to what I do musically, because I was able to continue in something in the arts with all the exuberance of youth and the experience of the music business, but truly on the bottom of the ladder...

'Maybe some day again I will act, but it's so far down the list of things to do these days, because the music has been so great, I've got other philanthropic actions and business stuff going on. So it's not that appealing,' Jon said.

jon bon jovi ~ injures leg onstage

NJ's Jon Bon Jovi hurt himself near the end of the band's 2 1/2-hour concert at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on Friday night. But, being the trooper that he is, he then limped back and forth across the stage but managed an encore, "Livin' On A Prayer"
.
Bon Jovi grew up not too far away in Sayreville, NJ, hurt his leg while covering the Dave Clark Five hit "Glad All Over."  Nearly halfway through the song and was forced to use his microphone stand to support his weight.

"My calf muscle just blew out! Whoa!," he said from the stage. "I got another leg. I don't need this one."
"Don't you worry, folks," he said. "I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm old. What can I tell you? But I'm still good-lookin'!"

After taking a final bow near the front of the stage with bandmates, Bon Jovi managed to get off with the help of keyboard player David Bryan. He received medical attention after the show.  A spokesperson has said the band will be able to play the rest of its summer stadium tour and does not anticipate canceling any dates.  This of course would depend on any complications from the injury and doctor's orders.
