eric church to release chief

Eric Church will release his new album, 'Chief', on 26 July 211 on EMI Records. He titled the album after a childhood nickname given to him by his grandfather. Church co-wrote the project's first single, 'Homeboy,' with Casey Beathard. The music video for “Homeboy,” was filmed at Nashville’s Tennessee State Prison.

Church co-wrote 10 of the 11 tracks, with titles such as 'Jack Daniels,' and 'Springsteen.'   Church's hits include 'Love Your Love the Most,' 'Hell on the Heart' and 'Smoke a Little Smoke.'  He will open for Jason Aldean through 5 June 2011 and join Toby Keith's tour beginning 30 June 2011 and continuing through the fall.
