NOW that's what i call country vol. 4

"NOW That's What I Call Country Vol. 4" will be out 14 June 2011.   

It's part of "NOW That's What I Call Music!, "which is the world's best-selling multi-artist album series with sales topping 200 million worldwide and 80 million in the U.S. The three previous country releases debuted in the top 3 of the Billboard country albums chart.

On 2 June 2011, the New York based non-profit organization The VH1 Save the Music Foundation will be hosting a fundraiser concert in Nashville, featuring The Band Perry at the Hard Rock CafĂ©. Tickets to the Songwriters Music Series are $100.
The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to restoring musical instruments and educational programs in public schools throughout the United States. They are also dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of music as a part of each child’s complete education.

Tim McGraw was named country music’s top touring act of 2010 by Billboard. His latest hit single, “Felt Good On My Lips,” topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart earlier this year.

McGraw has also carved out an acting career, most recently co-starring with Gwyneth Paltrow in the 2010 film “Country Strong.”
He also co-starred with Sandra Bullock in 2009’s “The Blind Side,” and has appeared in several other films.
McGraw has sold more than 40 million units in his career, racking up 32 No. 1 singles and 3 Grammy Awards.
Opening the concert will be Luke Bryan and The Band Perry.  The Band Perry received the fan-voted Academy of Country Music award for Top New Vocal Duo or Group.  They are also in the running for Top Vocal Group at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be broadcast live 3 April 2011 on CBS.

If you’ve been thinking about visiting the Grand Ole Opry, 4-5 March 2011 would be a really good time to go. Some of country’s biggest stars will take part in the "Opry All-Star Weekend." Scheduled to perform are Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, The Band Perry,  Rodney Atkins, Hall of Famer Little Jimmy Dickens and more. A second show has been added to the weekend line-up on Fri., 4 March 2011.
Additionally, fans will have a chance to meet Opry member Terri Clark, who will sign copies of her latest CD, The Long Way Home, and her new DVD, “Live At Cedar Creek,” in The Opry Shop on 5 March 2011 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. before appearing on that night’s Opry show.
