Jason Aldean's fourth studio CD, 'My Kinda Party,' sold 193,000 in its first week, making it the highest album debut of last week and the biggest first week debut by a male vocalist in more than three years. Kenny Chesney set the previous high mark in September 2007 with 'Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates.'
"I can't say enough about my fans and this incredible ride we are all taking together. Don't count out the kids who live out in the sticks, drive pickup trucks, wear John Deere hats and like their country music on the rockin' side," said Aldean.
"There are a whole lot of us," said Aldean. "It's always exciting to put out new music and see what the reaction will be. It's been a killer week."
