lady antebellum on the grammys
Lady Antebellum have joined the lineup of performers on the Grammy Awards airing live 13 Feb. 2011 on CBS. They are nominated for six Grammys, with three nods in categories across all genres -- album, record and song of the year. Last year, they won a Grammy for "I Run to You" in the category of best country performance by a duo or group with vocals. Other newly-announced performers include Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Muse. As previously announced, Miranda Lambert will also perform at the Grammys, along with Arcade Fire, Eminem, Cee Lo Green, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Some of Country’s biggest names make an appearance on the first round of nominations for the 2011 People’s Choice Awards.
Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban represent the men of Country music vying for Favorite Male Artist; Eminem, Ludacris, John Mayer and Usher round out the category. Country ladies Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are nominated alongside Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna for Favorite Female Artist.
Country made a sweep at the ceremony last year when Rascal Flatts was named Favorite Group and Underwood was crowned Favorite Female Artist.
Online voting at http://peopleschoice.com/pca/nominations will determine the top five nominees in each category. Voting for the official nominees continues through 9 Nov. 2010.
